Después de 9 años, los suecos AEON regresan con nuevo material titulado "God Ends Here" la pregunta principal es ¿valió la pena la espera? analicemos.
El trabajo cuenta con una buena portada, simulando la entrada a una zona donde, como bien lo dice el álbum, "Dios Termina Aquí" y se alcanza a apreciar un mar de cuerpos y devastación.
Entrando ya en materia, es un trabajo con 16 canciones, de las cuales 5 son "intros" instrumentales, los cuales son su mayor pecado, pero ya hablaremos de eso y en total tiene una duración de 49 minutos.
Musicalmente, está muy bien trabajado, producido y ejecutado, pero asemeja demasiado a lo que fue el MORBID ANGEL de los 90's, tiene algunas canciones que van de menos a más, se cuentan con algunos momentos sinfónicos, pero se tiene un pecado grande. Como lo mencione anteriormente, se tienen 5 "intros" o piezas instrumentales que bien podrían ser un aire fresco, pero no es el caso, ya que están mal colocados y parece que termina un álbum y comienza otro al punto de llegar a ser tediosos, como un "otro intro, ¿¿enserio??" y considero que es el mayor problema de este trabajo.
Como tal, el trabajo no es malo, se disfruta pero llega a sentirse como un álbum sin idea o inspiración, es potente y brutal, si, pero no llega a calar la mente y el alma, nada que no hayamos escuchado en un CANNIBAL CORPSE, MORBID ANGEL o bien con el BLOODBATH con anterioridad y mejor ejecutado y sin esos "intros" que hacen extraña la manera de escuchar el álbum.
En conclusión, es un disco de 7 se disfruta pero hasta ahí, no hay novedad (lo cual no siempre es malo) pero entregan un Death Metal muy genérico y nada memorable, tiene sus altibajos y esos tracks que arruinan gran parte de la experiencia musical.
