Parece que Polonia es cuna de Black/Death Metal de gran calidad, ya que de la mano de GODZ OV WAR PRODUCTIONS viene TEMPLE OF DECAY con su trabajo debut titulado "Rigor Mortis" (solo contaban con un EP que salió en 2020) y hablaremos de éste trabajo de gran presencia.
TEMPLE OF DECAY es un proyecto One Man Band, ya que es el señor Mortt quien se encarga de todos los instrumentos y la voz.
Gracias a GODZ OV WAR PRODUCTIONS tenemos acceso anticipado a algunos álbumes y "Rigor Mortis" no es la excepción, ya que el trabajo saldrá el 22 de abril y aquí te dejamos una reseña para que vayas con toda la seguridad a adquirirlo o descargarlo.
El señor Mortt nos presenta un Black/Death crudo y muy bien ejecutado, toda la instrumentación esta muy bien acoplada, el intro del disco me parece muy directo, sin sonidos extraños, campanas, etc. solo tenemos 2 golpes a los platillos y te dejan ir toda la batería machacante, las guitarras a gran velocidad y un grito extenso y profundo, muy a la BEHEMOTH old school.
En algunos pasajes, te recuerda a un Black metal de principio de los 90's lleno de gritos desgarrados, gritos ahogados y sufrimiento, pero en otros pasajes te traen un Death más brutal y con el gutural más grave, como un dragón en una caverna, me gustaría destacar eso precisamente, la voz, es una voz muy dinámica, te hace el disco muy variado e interesante para encontrar los diferentes matices y entonaciones.
El genero, bien sabemos que esta muy establecido y memorizado, efectivamente no tenemos aquí un gran descubrimiento o reinvención del género, pero eso no es algo negativo, ya que el trabajo es directo y poderoso, a lo que va, sin rodeos y con todas las ganas de machacar tu cabeza. TEMPLEY OF DECAY no quiere innovar, quiere demostrarte como de Black/Death sigue vivo, se ejecuta con calidad y viene con fuerza para explotar tus sentidos.
Tenemos 6 canciones originales y un 7mo track que es un cover a VENOM y nos dan una duración de 29 minutos, demasiado económico, pero adecuado por la velocidad y la brutalidad aquí presentada.
Esta ocasión daremos un 8.5 a 9 mientras más lo escuchas, más lo disfrutas. Recuerden que lo podrán escuchar completo a partir del 22 de abril.
