ARCHSPIRE es de esas bandas que logran machacar tu cabeza y llena de virtuosismo al mismo tiempo, éste trabajo era uno de los que más esperaba su servidor, ya que como fan de Death Metal y sobre todo del Technical, no podía esperar para poder escuchar la obra de los canadienses.
El trabajo nos presenta 8 canciones, las cuales nos dan una duración de 31 minutos y 45 segundos, tiempo perfecto para un Tech Death tan brutal, potente y poderoso. Con "Bleed The Fututre" llegan a su 4to trabajo a lo largo de su carrera.
Comencemos a hablar de la portada, la cual podría interpretarse como sencilla si no se le pone la atención necesaria ya que esta llena de detalles que la hacen más brutal conforme los encuentras, pero aún sin verla a detalle, se presenta como una portada brutal, grotesca e imponente.
El trabajo llega a un nivel absurdo de poder, velocidad (y no solo en la instrumentación) y es maravilloso como logran dar tanta carnicería y velocidad pero sin perder la precisión en sus instrumentos.
ARCHSPIRE inicia directo, sin escalas, directo a machacar tu cabeza, con el poder de "Drone Corpse Aviator" en la cual se luce el señor Spencer en la batería. Durante todo el trabajo, el bajo del señor Jared tiene muchísima presencia y eso se agradece, suena virtuoso y las líneas que existen se disfrutan bastante.
No podemos no hablar de las guitarras de los maestros Tobi y Dean, obviamente la técnica en sus instrumentos es impecable y se lucen durante todas las canciones. Claro está que no vamos a dejar de lado la poderosa voz y forma de cantar del gran Oliver, que se nota que estaba inspirado a la hora de grabar ya que en piezas como "Bleed The Future" (canción que le da titulo al álbum) o "Acrid Canon" muestra una técnica de voz impresionante, muy veloz pero a la vez parece salida del mismo infierno, un trabajo maravilloso.
Es un trabajo que también maneja muy bien algunos momentos melódicos (aunque son los menos) ya que canciones como " Reverie on the Onyx" o "Drain of Incarnation" presentan intros preciosos pero después regresan a esa batería demoledora y todo ese caos musical que generan, es delicioso.
El álbum cierra con "A. U. M." que es como un "¿pensabas que ya se había acabado nuestra brutalidad? pues te equivocas" por que cierra poderoso, muy Tech y tiene un pequeño puente a la mitad de la canción que te provoca un respiro pero ese respiro debe ser rápido ya que regresa su machacante sonido y la voz con un grito tipo pig squeal, gran cierre de álbum.
Trabajo de 10, trate de ser lo más objetivo posible ya que ARCHSPIRE se ha convertido en una de mis bandas favoritas desde que los descubrí por allá del 2014 con su gran trabajo "The Lucid Collective" y a partir de ahí no he parado de escucharlos, pero siendo sinceros, no le encontré algún pero al trabajo, todo lo contrario, me ha encantado y es altamente recomendado si te gusta el metal más extremo, técnico, veloz y lleno de virtuosismos.
