BELPHEGOR regresan tras 5 largos años y que manera de regresar.
El más reciente trabajo de los maestros de la oscuridad, titulado "The Devils" nos presenta 9 canciones que le dan al álbum una duración de poca más de 40 minutos, los cuales son altamente disfrutables y debes escuchar más de una vez para percatarte de todos los detalles de este estupendo trabajo.
Desde que ves la portada, sabes toda la brutalidad y blasfemia que te espera (como dato curioso, el señor Seth Siro, miembro de SEPTICFLESH se encargó del arte de la portada).
La producción es espectacular, la ejecución impecable y brutal, la voz del maestro Helmuth suena aterradora y poderosa, las líneas del bajo a cargo de Vojtech suenan pesados e icónicos, se tatúan en tu oído, el trabajo es fenomenal.
Cabe mencionar que puede que sea el álbum más lento de la banda, pero eso no es negativo, al contrario, te dan melodías que logran una ambientación lúgubre, pesada y que parece salida del mismo inframundo, a diferencia de otros trabajos, no hay tanta velocidad sobrehumana, claro que está muy presente la virtuosidad de los músicos, pero en esta ocasión trataron más de dar un ambiente y/o escenario que te atrapara completamente y les quedo una maravilla.
Los toques orquestales, las voces femeninas en algunas piezas y todo unido al poder del BLACK/DEATH Metal hacen un tremendo trabajo de estos Austriacos, que esperemos disfrutar algunas de sus obras maestras esté 23 de septiembre en el glorioso México Metal Fest.
Sin duda fue un regreso extraordinario, estamos seguros que será uno de los álbumes más destacados del año, un 9.5 a 10 altamente disfrutable y recomendable si te gusta la música más extrema y a su vez la más pesada.
