NEEDLESS es una banda de Hungría y el pasado 7 de enero lanzaron su segundo LP y acá te dejamos su reseña.
Para comenzar a hablar del disco, hay que destacar su portada, el arte gráfico es muy llamativo y asemeja a las portadas del Tech Death, muy visual y lleno de detalles.
Entrando en materia, el trabajo consta de 10 canciones que nos dan una duración de 57 minutos, álbum largo pero se va como agua entre los dedos.
La producción es muy buena, cada instrumento suena excelente, bien colocados y entran en tiempo y forma.
Musicalmente hablando, no estamos ante un trabajo que suene fresco e innovador, pero lo que hacen lo hacen de manera excelsa. Algo a destacar del LP y de la banda misma es que no puedes encasillarlos en un genero, ya que te presentan Tharsh, Death y Black, todo en un solo álbum y encajan armoniosamente, gran trabajo.
La canción que me gustaría destacar es "Planet Oblivion" es la más melódica y cuenta con la participación de Martina Horvart de la maravillosa banda THY CATAFALQUE y con los guturales del señor Ádám queda como anillo al dedo, muy disfrutable.
Algunos detalles que mencionar es que el bajo llega a perderse en lagunas canciones, no es tan notorio pero se percibe y llega a hacer falta en algunos pasajes musicales.
Los duelos de guitarra son muy buenos, riffs poderosos y brutales, al igual que la batería, la cual alcanza grandes velocidades y gran técnica. Y por ultimo, la ejecución vocal es maravillosa, un gutural potente, bien colocado y contundente.
Como lo mencione, no es un álbum que haya destacado por ser innovador, pero si por ejecutar de manera excelente los géneros de metal extremo.
Es un trabajo de 8.5 bien logrado, disfrutable y poderoso.
